Danielle Maye's living room was a haven of comfort and serenity, but that peace was shattered when she noticed something moving on her living room floor. Her eyes widened in shock as she realized the tiny figures were people, no bigger than her fingers. "What the hell?" she muttered under her breath.
She knelt down to get a better look and saw that there were about a dozen of these tiny creatures roaming around on her floor. They were chattering amongst themselves in a language she didn't understand. "How did they get here?" she wondered out loud.
She reached out to touch one of them, curiosity getting the better of her. The tiny figure let out a squeal of fear and started to run away. Danielle frowned, not sure how to react to their frightened behavior. "Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you," she tried to assure them.
But her words seemed to fall on deaf ears as the tiny people scattered in all directions. "Alright, that's it," she decided. "I'm going to have to teach them a lesson they won't forget."
With a deep breath, she stood up and towered over the tiny figures. They stopped in their tracks, eyes wide with terror as they stared up at her. Danielle couldn't help but feel a sense of power wash over her.
"You see these feet?" she asked, pointing down at them. "They could crush each and every one of you into tiny little pieces. And that's exactly what I'm going to do if you don't start behaving."
The tiny people trembled where they stood, uncertain of what to do. Danielle Maye walked slowly towards them, her footsteps thundering like an approaching storm. The tiny people tried to escape, but there was nowhere for them to hide.
Finally, she stood just inches away from them, her massive foot looming over their heads. She bent down and picked up one of the tiny figures, holding it between her thumb and forefinger. It struggled weakly, but there was no escaping its fate.
"This is what happens when you invade someone's personal space," she said, her voice cold and emotionless. "You'll learn to respect boundaries...or pay the consequences."
With that, she squeezed her hand closed, crushing the tiny figure into a tiny ball of flesh and bone. The other tiny people watched in horror as their friend was destroyed before their eyes.
"Anyone else want to test my patience?" she asked, her voice almost amused at their terror. No one dared to answer.
Danielle Maye made her way back to the comfort of her couch, the tiny people still scattered on the floor. She sat down, her legs dangling over the edge of the coffee table. She watched as they slowly started to regroup, their fear slowly giving way to cautious curiosity.
"You've been warned," she said, her voice echoing through the room. "Don't let it happen again."
The tiny people nodded their heads in understanding, their eyes never leaving her massive form. They knew they had met their match in Danielle Maye and that crossing her would not end well.
As the sun set and the room grew dark, Danielle Maye settled into her chair, a satisfied smile on her lips. She knew these tiny people would remember her for a long time to come. And she wasn't too sure she minded that fact one bit.
